CNC Programmer

The NOV West Little York facility is looking to hire a CNC Programmer to plan, organize and formulate efficient operational programs for numerical control machines through the application of established or pre-determined manufacturing engineering methods to provide optimum utilization of machine capabilities and tooling arrangements. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Formulate efficient operational programs to maximize machine utilization and product quality while meeting customer expectations. - Complete and maintain program documentation and file systems. - Respond to short-term shop needs to keep NC machines operating at maximum efficiency. - Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying and reporting cost-saving opportunities. - Stay current on new processes, tools, and methods, and apply them to NC manufacturing. - Maintain open communication with all personnel, accepting suggestions and instruction. - Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for created or modified part programs. - Perform other work-related duties as assigned. - Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. **FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** - Utilize Esprit CAD/CAM software. - Experience programming Mazak INTEGREX E-670HW, INTEGREX E650H2, and CT4500M preferred. - Mazatrol programming preferred. - Competency in 3D modeling systems and model creation. **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of programming experience or 5–7 years of machine operation and programming experience. - Competency in 3D modeling systems and model creation. - Experience programming large offshore BOPs and other equipment preferred. - Experience programming large G&L, vertical machining centers, and HBMs utilizing Fanuc controls preferred. - Experience with Vericut and creating probing routines preferred. - SolidWorks experience and model creation required.
