## Description Program CNC machines and assist with the prove-out of new products. Lead continuous improvement activities that result in standardization and waste reduction in the manufacturing process. Assist with cycle time quoting, product planning and creating project timelines. Assist with the installation and set-up of new equipment. Monitor machine maintenance and work with vendors to maintain and repair machines when necessary. **Major Responsibilities:** · Maintain digital data traceability. · Proficient in CAD/CAM programming. · Fixture design and development. · Perform machine set-up. · Perform all quality requirements. · Continue to develop lean processes. · Provide training support. · Lean activities, continuous improvement. · Basic understanding of blueprints. · Basic knowledge of GD&T. · Troubleshoot CNC machines. · Other tasks/duties as required. **Skills and Abilities:** · Must have 5-Axis milling programming and machining background. Minimum 5 yrs exp. · Must be able to work in a team environment. · Must have at least basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows. · Must have working knowledge of Master Cam software. Minimum 10 yrs exp CNC Programming. · Must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods, using computer keyboard. · Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. **Qualifications:** · High School Diploma or equivalent, and/or 5-10 years related experience and training; or combination of both.
