This position is responsible for operating **CNC fabrication equipment** and ensuring granite and stone countertops are fabricated accurately according to specifications and customer expectations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a: - CNC Operator - CNC Machinist - Stone Fabricator - Granite Fabricator - Tooling Technician - Manufacturing Machine Operator If you enjoy working with precision equipment, problem-solving, and producing high-quality finished products, we'd like to hear from you. * * * ## **Key Responsibilities** - Operate **CNC fabrication machinery** to route, polish, and finish countertop edges - Set up and monitor CNC equipment to ensure quality production standards are met - Use a **Zoller tool measuring machine** to inspect and measure tooling - Manage tooling inventory and identify replacement needs - Operate overhead cranes and assist with forklift operation as needed - Perform routine machine maintenance and basic facility maintenance - Read and follow work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of stone products - Maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs - Continuously develop knowledge of stone products, tooling, and fabrication techniques * * * ## **Qualifications** - Previous experience in the **granite, stone fabrication, CNC machining, or manufacturing industry** preferred - Knowledge of granite, quartz, and other stone materials preferred - Experience operating CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - Ability to read and follow work orders and production specifications - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team * * * ## **Physical Requirements** - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday - Ability to safely lift and move materials with assistance and proper equipment - Ability to work in a manufacturing and fabrication environment - Comfortable operating computers, machinery, and industrial equipment * * * ## **Tools & Equipment Used** - CNC fabrication machines - AlphaCAM software - Zoller tool measuring equipment - Overhead cranes - Forklifts - Various fabrication and measuring tools * * * ## **Why Join Us?** National Design Mart is a leading stone fabrication operation that takes pride in producing high-quality countertops for residential and commercial customers.
