CNC Milling Machinist – Multi-Axis | 5-Axis | 2nd/3rd Shift

Location: Kettering, OH Shifts Available: - 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Overtime Available - 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Overtime Available Compensation: Competitive Salary + 15% Shift Differential for off-shift hours + OT + Benefits Day #1 We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team producing complex, tight-tolerance components for high-performance industries, including aerospace. This is a hands-on, shop-floor role working with advanced CNC milling equipment in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You’ll support machining of large, complex parts where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship directly impact production success. Key Responsibilities - Set up and operate CNC machines (2-axis through 5-axis and multi-axis equipment) - Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications - Select and install tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets - Produce precision-machined components to tight aerospace tolerances - Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools - Make offset adjustments and minor program edits - Monitor tool wear and machining conditions for efficiency and consistency - Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues - Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards - Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation - Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity What You Bring - 3+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation required) - Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers (2-axis through 5-axis preferred) - Aerospace or high-precision machining background strongly preferred - Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills - Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better preferred) - Skilled with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and inspection tools - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Click Apply Now to be considered for this CNC Machinist opportunity in Kettering, OH!
