**Position Summary** The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis Milling equipment. **Essential Functions** - Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets and operation sheets to produce complex finished product. - Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary. - Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments, including OD & ID indicating gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands and verniers. - Perform daily TPM responsibilities. - Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required. - Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes. - Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors. **Competencies** - Technical capacity - Problem-solving / analysis - Initiative - Results-driven **Experience and Education** - Minimum of 3 years of aerospace CNC machining experience is required. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education. **Supervisory Responsibility** This position has no supervisory responsibilities. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
