As a **CNC Lathe Machinist 1**, you’ll be at the heart of precision manufacturing - setting up, programming, and operating state-of-the-art CNC lathe machines to bring innovative tool designs to life. Your expertise ensures accuracy, efficiency, and the highest quality in every component produced. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Reads blueprints and sets up the CNC Lathe to machine parts per specifications. - Edits the G-Code program to machine parts of varying sizes. - Capable of running 2 CNC machines. - Set up parts on the CNC machine, including installing jaws, bore jaws, tool offsets, and 1^st^ part prove out. - Lifts raw material and attaches it appropriately to the Lathe for - Operates the CNC lathe machine to turn raw materials into finished parts. - Follows safety precautions and safety guidelines. - Operates cranes and overhead cranes as needed. - Inspects machined components and records The above statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified; nothing restricts the company’s right to change, assign, or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time or for any reason **Education** - High school diploma or GED required, - A minimum of one to three years work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **TECHNICAL SKILLS** - Proficient in communicating with colleagues and in creating a team working environment. - Current health, safety & environmental (HSE) training as per division training matrix (Includes both regulatory and SES required courses). - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations. - Ethical business practices. - Applicable PPE required to complete assigned tasks. - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. - Understanding written statements in work-related documents. - Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and recommend solutions. **Superior Energy Services has Excellent Benefits**: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Matching 401(k), and Personal Time Off (PTO) **To be considered for this position, please select the link “Apply Now”**
