As a **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)**, you'll be a vital part of our compassionate team, working closely with our residents and helping them maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve. **Schedule:** - 12 hour shift - Day shift 7a-7p - Baylor schedule, every FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY **What You’ll Do:** As a CNA in our retirement community, your role is to provide hands-on care to our residents and ensure they feel safe, valued, and supported throughout the day. - **Responsibilities** - Assist elderly residents or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents with their daily activities, like getting dressed, bathing/showering, grooming, and eating. - - Help residents take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation - - Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe. - Offer a friendly, comforting presence during meals, and assist residents with eating when needed. - - Plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises - Complete resident’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so - Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents - Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency - Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting residents with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary **Qualifications:** We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
