Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in networking, compute infrastructure (e.g. servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments. 6 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery. Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as required, for client engagements. Preferred qualifications: Experience with one or more third-party networking products (e.g., PANW, Fortinet, VMWare Cloud Foundation). Experience in scalable networking design, including high availability, redundancy, failover, and load balancing. Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTP/S), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Experience in customer-facing migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations. Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
