Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in networking, compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments. 6 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery. Experience in solution engineering, stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting. Experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java). Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Experience in scalable networking design, including high availability, redundancy, failover, and load balancing. Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTP/S), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Experience in customer-facing migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations. Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management. You will also provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring that customers receive the best of what GCP can offer and have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.
