The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining cloud strategy, designing secure and resilient architectures, and driving infrastructure standardization using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). As a Cloud Architect, you will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to build cloud-native solutions that are highly available, cost-efficient, and scalable. You will also mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices and ensure that cloud environments align with organizational security, compliance, and operational standards. ### Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures for modern applications. - Define cloud adoption strategies, reference architectures, and infrastructure standards across projects. - Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using **Terraform** to automate provisioning and lifecycle management. - Architect cloud networking, identity management, storage, compute, and monitoring solutions. - Collaborate with development teams to build cloud-native applications and microservices-based architectures. - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Establish disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies for mission-critical workloads. - Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls. - Drive infrastructure automation and CI/CD integration for faster and more reliable deployments. - Evaluate new cloud services and emerging technologies to improve platform capabilities. - Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot architectural issues, and recommend performance improvements. - Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices. ### Required Skills & Qualifications - 8–14 years of experience in software infrastructure, cloud engineering, or cloud architecture. - Strong expertise in designing enterprise-scale **cloud** solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Hands-on experience with **Terraform** for provisioning, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure. - Proven experience architecting highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud environments. - Strong understanding of cloud networking, virtual private clouds (VPCs), load balancing, DNS, storage, and compute services. - Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools. - Experience implementing cloud security frameworks, IAM, governance, monitoring, and compliance best practices. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design principles. - Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and architectural decision-making skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with experience working across cross-functional teams. ### Preferred Qualifications - Professional cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect. - Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Exposure to FinOps practice…
