**Clinician (Licensed or License-Eligible) – Juvenile Justice Program** **Location:** Westfield Youth Service Center (Westfield, MA) **Position Type:** Full-Time or Part-Time, Salaried **Salary Range:** (Based on experience and licensure) Licensed eligible starts at: $63,000. Licensed starts at: $70,000. **Make a Difference Where It Matters Most:** The **Center for Human Development (CHD)** is seeking Master’s level, licensed or license-eligible Clinicians to join our Juvenile Justice Program. In this role, you will work with male youth in the Revocation/Detention Unit at the Westfield Youth Service Center, a secure Department of Youth Services (DYS) facility. To support your professional growth, strong individual and group clinical supervision is provided. **Your Role: Clinical & Administrative Leadership:** *As a key member of the program’s administrative team, you will ensure all treatment components are seamlessly coordinated. Your responsibilities will include:* - **Direct Clinical Care:** Conducting individual and group therapy, performing intakes, and facilitating crisis intervention. - **Case Management:** Managing caseloads, coordinating medical and psychiatric care, and maintaining consistent contact with families, guardians, and appropriate collaterals. - **Collaboration & Compliance:** Building strong working relationships with state agencies (such as DYS and DCF), community health organizations, and referral sources while ensuring clinical documentation meets all licensing requirements. **Shift & Training Requirements:** - **Schedule:** Full-time and part-time salaried positions are available. Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours is preferred to meet program needs. - **Mandatory Training:** Hired clinicians must complete a required, non-negotiable 3-week training program in Grafton, MA. This training consists of full 8-hour days and is a mandatory requirement of the role. **What You Need to Bring (Success Factors):** - **Education:** Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or a related clinical field. - **Licensure:** Current professional license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) is preferred or actively license eligible. - **Experience:** Experience working within an involuntary residential or secure setting is **required**, alongside extensive experience with learning-disordered adolescents or youth facing behavioral challenges; experience with DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and substance abuse treatment is highly preferred. - **Key Skills:** Patience, compassion, and the ability to perform well under stress and in crisis situations. - *Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!* **What’s in it for You?
