Clinical Support (LPN or MA) HIMG Neurology (Full Time) - 7316

**St. Mary's Medical Center** is seeking a full time **Clinical Support CMA or LPN** for the outpatient **HIMG Neurology** department. This position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position. Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times. **To be considered, candidates must have their Medical Assistant certification or LPN License.** **Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** - Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician. - Answering phones & Making appointments - Greeting & interacting with patients & customers - Initial patient screenings - Pulling and filing patient charts - Taking blood pressure & medical histories - Assisting doctors - Calling or faxing prescriptions - Giving injections or drawing blood
