About the Role Charlie Health is seeking passionate and driven second/final-year master’s students in mental health programs (such as Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields) to join our dynamic virtual care team for their clinical practicum or internship experience. As a clinical practicum student at Charlie Health, you’ll gain direct experience working with high-acuity clients in a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. Under the close supervision of one of our experienced therapists, you’ll develop your clinical skills through a variety of client interactions and treatment modalities. Responsibilities Participate in group, individual, and family sessions under the supervision of an experienced clinician Observe and co-facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities Attend clinical supervision meetings and engage in reflective practice to support growth and development Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards Engage in ongoing learning and training opportunities related to trauma-informed care, telehealth best practices, and working with high-acuity populations Requirements Enrollment in a master’s-level program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related discipline (see list below for examples) Students should be in the second year of their master’s program by the time the practicum or internship begins, meeting eligibility requirements to start clinical hours.
