IPS is a state-funded, non-profit organization, that specializes in the provision of outpatient clinical services for those negatively associated with the criminal justice system. Using empirically validated and evidence-based treatment, IPS strives to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. IPS’ mission is to positively affect change by offering clinical and educational services that assist in reducing adult offender recidivism. IPS is seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager of Substance Use Services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Clinical Manager of Substance Use Services provides strategic clinical and operational leadership for the organization's substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and psychoeducation programs. Reporting directly to the Deputy Operations Officer, this position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services through individual, group, and interdisciplinary treatment interventions. The Clinical Manager ensures clinical excellence by promoting best practices, maintaining regulatory and contractual compliance, improving program outcomes, and fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous quality improvement. This position serves as a member of the leadership team and partners closely with organizational leadership to advance IPS mission while ensuring exceptional client care and operational performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Leadership - Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all substance use disorder and psychoeducation services, ensuring treatment aligns with evidence-based practices and established standards of care. - Promote the delivery of individualized, trauma-informed, person-centered treatment that supports recovery, engagement, and long-term success. - Provide consultation and clinical guidance regarding treatment planning, relapse prevention, documentation, crisis intervention, and complex clinical cases. - Ensure clinical decision-making reflects ethical standards, professional practice guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations. Program Operations - Direct the daily operations of assigned substance use treatment programs to ensure effective, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. - Monitor productivity, program performance, clinical outcomes, and operational metrics while implementing strategies to improve performance. - Evaluate workflows and operational processes to maximize efficiency, improve client access, and strengthen program effectiveness. - Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic priorities and implement initiatives that enhance program growth and service quality.
