Clinical Lab Assistant II--Day Shift

Job Description Curative is hiring Clinical Lab Assistant II's who are passionate about helping the company as we work to save lives by processing COVID-19 tests. Candidates will be able to utilize their previous experience and degrees in a life science or related field. Under direct and constant supervision of a Laboratory Leads or Clinical Laboratory Scientists, the Clinical Laboratory Assistant II is responsible for: Responsibilities: Assisting the CLS’ and Lab Technicians on the RNA extraction and PCR teams (as needed). Checking inventory and ordering supplies Performing clerical duties Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science Minimum of six months related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Clinical laboratory experience required, including but not limited to customer service, specimen processing, and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory setting. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing and laboratory information systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Schedule: Full time position; 40 hrs per week; weekends may be required.
