The Clinical Coordinator provides support for the Director, Undergraduate Chair, Office Manager, Faculty and Students of the School of Nursing. **Minimum Qualifications** **:** - Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred, prior experience in clinical setting preferred. - Must have knowledge that includes an understanding of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses, an understanding of the clinical practice of nursing, knowledge of the diverse organizational environments in which nurses practice, and knowledge of the types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives. **Job Duties & Responsibilities:** - The Clinical Coordinator works closely and collaborates with the Director of Operations, nursing school Director, Chairs, and Coordinators. - The Clinical Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations for the Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing. - Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration. - Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary. - Build and maintain relationships with schools and departments across the Ivester College of Health Sciences, external partners, and vendors. - Coordination and planning in all aspects of the clinical phase of Nursing programs. - Clinical Coordinator collaborates with the Director, Chair, support coordinators of Clinical Education and academic faculty to understand clinical education standards, and to evaluate and facilitate development of clinical education sites and clinical adjunct faculty. - Clinical Coordinator performs all other duties as directed by the Director of Operations, nursing school Director, Chairs, and Coordinators, the Dean of the Ivester College of Health Sciences, the Brenau University Provost, and the Brenau University President or designee. **Administrative Duties:** - Work closely with the clinical team, clinical coordinators, site coordinators, and clinical preceptors and/or administrators to facilitate clinical practice experiences for all students at multiple sites. - Coordinate site visits and review student progress during the clinical phase of the program. - Manage ACEMAPP or other designated clinical tracking software and develop methods of assessing the clinical phase of the program as part of ongoing self-assessment. - Assist with long-range planning.
