This position will teach, advise, mentor, and evaluate students throughout the nursing program. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. ## **Qualifications:** **Required Education and/or Experience:** - A Bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and actively enrolled in a Master's program with a major in nursing **OR** A Master's degree with a major in nursing **OR** A Doctoral degree with a major in nursing; **OR** A Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or EdD) and a Masters in nursing; - Applicant must also have a current, unencumbered Arkansas or multi-state RN license from a compact state **OR** the ability to obtain Arkansas licensure before the position start date; - Applicant must also maintain in-state residency during employment. **Preferred Education and/or Experience:** - Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field or current enrollment in a doctoral program; - Teaching experience and recent experience in nursing practice or nursing education in the area(s) of program need; - CNE certification. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Teach, advise, mentor, and evaluate students throughout the nursing program; - Participate in service to the university, community, and profession; - Establish and maintain a program of scholarly activities; - Conduct clinical, face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online student learning activities designed to meet student and program learning outcomes; - Effective communication with staff, students, peers, agency personnel, and administration; - Consistent meeting of established timelines and project completion dates; - Contributes to the eva…
