Clinic Operations Assistant - KDMC Monticello

## Description The Clinic Operations Assistant provides administrative, clinical, and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the clinic. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients, assists healthcare providers with patient care, maintains accurate patient records, performs courier services between the clinic and KDMC, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting a positive patient experience. ## Requirements Education - High school diploma or GED required. Experience - Minimum of two(2) years experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or outpatient healthcare setting preferred. Certifications - Current Medical Assistant certification required. - Mississippi Limied X-Ray certification preferred. - Valid Mississippi driver's license required. - Current automobile liability insurance required. Special Qualifictions - Working knowledge of medical terminology. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. - Familiarity with clinical protocols, diagnostic testing procedures, and medical billing and insurance processes. - Ability to interpret physician orders and coordinate patient care activities. - Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with patients, providers, and healthcare team members. - Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. - Demonstrates problem-solving skills and sound judgement. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment. - Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications. - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
