## Description The Clinic LPN provides quality nursing care and support in an outpatient clinic setting through the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. The Clinic LPN is responsible for preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, administering medications, assisting providers with procedures and treatments, performing clinical and laboratory functions, and providing patient education. This role requires accurate documentation, strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining patient safety, confidentiality, and high standards of care. The Clinic LPN may provide support at other KDMC clinic locations as needed. ## Requirements **Education** - Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. **Experience** - Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience in a clinic, physician office, or emergency department preferred. **Licensure & Certifications** - Current Mississippi LPN license required. - Current CPR certification required. - Current Mississippi State Department of Health Tuberculosis (TB) certification required or must be obtained within one (1) year of employment. - Current Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Permit issued by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure preferred. **Special Qualifications** - Ability to follow instructions and utilize appropriate communication channels. - Knowledge of clinic operations and outpatient healthcare workflows. - Willingness and flexibility to cross-train in other areas of clinic operations as needed. **Physical Demands** - Must maintain the physical and emotional health necessary to perform essential job duties in a clinical environment.
