Job Summary The Client Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and delivering tax services, accounting, and bookkeeping oversight to healthcare practice clients. This role is fully client-facing, oversees a portfolio of clients, and leads a team of Senior Accountants. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of both client work and team leadership in a growing firm. Key Responsibilities - Conduct client meetings based on the meeting schedule included in client’s Practice Service Package (in client’s office/company office, remotely and by phone) to organize and review their accounting and tax documents and to provide meaningful tax and business guidance and planning. - Review and finalize entity and 1040 tax returns for practice owner clients. - Collaborate on the successful completion of various annual financial and practice management reports completed for healthcare practice clients, including our annual Overhead and Fee Analysis. - Provide guidance, set up and maintain QuickBooks software for clients, as needed. - Assist in the development and leadership of Senior Accountants and Bookkeepers; act as resource to help other Preparers manage client relationships and address clients’ inquiries or issues. - Help build our healthcare practice business by assisting in marketing and promotional efforts; Represent Earned/Schwartz & Schwartz at various networking and marketing events as needed. - Maintain ongoing relationships with clients as needed to properly complete accounting and tax preparations and planning. - Respond to client inquiries in timely and professional manner according to firm policies. - Review, respond and resolve any IRS or state notices relating to clients. - Assist with additional tax and accounting work as delegated by partners.
