Clerk/Paraeducator JobID: 685 Position Type: Para-Educator Date Posted: 7/16/2026 Location: Powell Virtual School Date Available: 08/20/2026 Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY Position: Clerk/Paraeducator � Park 1 Virtual School Duties: Serve as a member of the Park 1 Virtual School team by assisting students, families, and staff in supporting a successful virtual learning environment. Help provide onboarding and orientation for new virtual students and families; assist with technology setup; provide weekly tutoring and academic support; monitor student engagement and progress; maintain attendance and student records; assist with communication to families; provide administrative support to the Virtual School Coordinator; and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High school graduate required. • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing platforms. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. • Experience in tutoring, educational support, or a school setting preferred. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and organize multiple tasks. Salary: District Support Services Wage Schedule � Clerk/Paraeducator Category (2026�2027), step 1 - $18.65 per hour Employment Term: Twenty-nine (29) hours per week (175 student days). Temporary, grant-funded, non-benefit eligible position funded through Title IV and contingent upon continued availability of grant funds.
