If you meet the qualifications for this role, we encourage you to apply. ## Description The **Cleared Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)** supports secure construction activities at a data center facility in Fort Meade, Maryland. In this role, you will monitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with security requirements, construction standards, and approved project specifications. You will partner with construction teams, site security, and project leadership to help protect the integrity of the environment throughout the build. **Responsibilities** - Conduct continuous site surveillance to verify compliance with security protocols and construction standards. - Monitor and control site access to ensure only authorized personnel are admitted. - Confirm construction activities align with approved plans, specifications, and security requirements. - Identify and report security breaches, safety concerns, and non-compliance issues to the appropriate stakeholders. - Maintain accurate daily logs, incident records, and observation reports. - Coordinate with construction managers, security personnel, and project stakeholders to resolve issues quickly. - Perform routine inspections to verify work quality and adherence to site security standards. - Provide regular updates to project managers and other relevant parties on site status and identified risks. - Promote safe work practices and ensure activities are conducted in accordance with site safety protocols. ## Requirements - Active **Top Secret clearance with Polygraph**. - U.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card. - Minimum of 3 years of Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) experience. - Current DOS CST Certification. - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in construction management, security, or a related field preferred. - Experience in construction surveillance, security, or a closely related field. - Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in construction environments. - Strong observational, analytical, and record-keeping skills. - Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with surveillance tools and related technology. - Familiarity with data center construction processes and standards is a plus.
