Ignite Education Solutions is hiring a Classroom Manager to work in a behavior intervention classroom one-on-one with students. **What are the hours like?** - Your schedule corresponds with school district schedules. - Apply today to discuss if there's a schedule that can work for you! **What do we offer?** - A collaborative, supportive environment for your professional growth. - Training and Development opportunities, including access to a professional development platform where you choose your growth opportunities. - Career Advancement opportunities! - When school is off, you're off! - Pay Range Starts at $140 per day - **Part-Time Benefits include** - - Paid Time Off - Longevity Bonuses - Health Membership Option - Retirement Savings (403(3) Option) - Discount Programs - Tuition Discounts - Pet Insurance **What are the duties and responsibilities?** **Management** - Teach personal development skills such as goal setting, independence and self-advocacy - Facilitate completion of tests and assignments to evaluate students’ progress - Administer specialized testing as necessary - Follow-up with concerns from teachers, parents and/or administrative staff - Prepare activities to keep students engaged throughout the school day - Teach socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement - Track daily behaviors using Class Dojo or another tracking method as approved by Ignite administration - Track attendance daily for each student - Complete bi-weekly progress report for tracking attendance and behavior, and academic progress reports as needed **IEP Implementation and Management** - Coordinate implementation of IEP goals and modifications (SDI’s) with general education and special education staff - Confer with parents, administrators, testing specialists and professionals to ensure individual education - Plans are designed to promote students’ educational, physical and social development - Monitor student progress, participate in review and revision of IEP, as appropriate - Attend staff meetings as required - Perform other duties as necessary **What are the required qualifications?** - High School Diploma required - A bachelor’s degree in secondary education/elementary education or Human Services field preferred - Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including: four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test. This can typically be accomplished within a week to get you started. - Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these happen throughout the eight-hour day.
