Civil Project Manager

**Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain strong client relationships by exceeding expectations through collaboration, responsiveness, and problem-solving - Serve as a primary client contact, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and coordinating with stakeholders - Prepare project proposals, including scope, schedules, and fee estimates - Lead the execution of site civil projects, overseeing technical design, permitting, approvals, financial performance, and client coordination - Ensure compliance with local jurisdictional requirements, entitlement processes, and permitting regulations - Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress, schedules, and budgets to meet profitability goals - Assign and manage workloads, schedules, and priorities for project teams - Ensure department and individual QA/QC standards are followed consistently - Mentor and lead staff to promote efficiency, quality, and professional growth - Assist the Department Manager with the implementation and improvement of processes, procedures, and operational practices - Advise the Department Manager on project-related operational and management matters - Support business development efforts by maintaining existing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities through industry involvement, meetings, and events **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in site civil engineering and project management - Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado - Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office - Demonstrated design experience in site planning, layout, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control, and landscaping - Strong understanding of entitlement processes and local permitting requirements - Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously - Strong engineering judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization externally - Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented leadership style
