Completion of an approved two (2) year highway/civil engineering technology, drafting, or land surveying program; OR B. Two (2) years of relevant work experience; OR C. Equivalent combination of education/training/experience. D. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the state of Minnesota. E. Must successfully complete a background check. F. Obtain and maintain certifications and licensures. F. 1. Ability to obtain and maintain, within one (1) year of hire: F. 1. 1. Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Certifications. Each **Civil Engineer Technician** grade level includes **11 wage steps**.
