Civil Construction Engineer - WI

[ISG](https://www.isginc.com/) is hiring a Civil Construction Engineer to join our [Transportation](https://www.isginc.com/transportation-business-unit) and [Public Works](https://www.isginc.com/public-works-business-unit) teams to enhance our expanding construction inspection, management, and administration services. Our [Transportation](https://www.isginc.com/transportation-business-unit)and [Public Works](https://www.isginc.com/public-works-business-unit) teams serve WisDOT, County, and City clients throughout Wisconsin and are comprised of folks in our [La Crosse](https://www.isginc.com/location/la-crosse-wi) and [Green Bay](https://www.isginc.com/location/green-bay-wi) and [Brookfield](https://www.isginc.com/location/brookfield-wi) offices. We are a full-service, multi-disciplinary team, who perform award winning work in planning, design, survey, and construction. Our Construction Administration leader in Eastern Wisconsin is [Heath Hagner](https://www.linkedin.com/in/heath-hagner-78a2011b7/), P.E., who brings nearly 25+ years of experience in the Wisconsin transportation industry, including working in multiple WisDOT Regions and cities. You will closely with Heath, as well as, [Joel Goodenough](https://www.isginc.com/news/meet-senior-project-manager-joel-goodenough), Senior Project Manager, who has a superior knowledge of standards and exceptional customer service, allowing him to thrive while working on some of the largest and most complex projects in Western Wisconsin. ### Essential Duties Our Transportation & Public Works civil construction engineers are responsible for the following: - Management of WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects - Conduct professional meetings including pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings - Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs and reports and construction oversight including inspection when needed - Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors - Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constrains while satisfying client requirements - Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth - Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery - Provide technical guidance and mentoring of project team members including other engineers and technical support staff - Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office - Contract administration of municipal projects As an [employee owner](https://www.isginc.com/employee-ownership) at ISG, you will continue to grow in your career. Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and collaborative mindset. Whether you have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, you should be comfortable leading projects independently and contributing to team growth.
