## Description Balance Autism is looking for a **Program Manger** to add to our team! This Leader is responsible for the hiring, training and scheduling of staff assigned to work with children in the clinic and/or community programs. This position also involves coordinating the process of evaluating and giving feedback for job performance collaboratively with the correlating Clinic Supervisors or Program Coordinators. **Top 5 Duties:** 1. Ensures appropriate recruitment, selection, and retention of Behavior Technicians and Autism Associates 2. Assures proper training and ongoing education for staff for all current and future person served 3. Provides information to Clinic Director to ensure effective and appropriate monitoring of metrics related to staffing patterns and needs. 4. Ensures proper management and support to direct support staff and handles employee concerns 5. Obtains information for reports to ensure proper management of areas of responsibility **Additional Responsibilities** - Ensure that the health and safety needs of the person(s) served are met. - Focus every day on supporting people with autism as they gain higher levels of independence, including skills related to: hygiene, personal care, building social relationships and networks, communication, and community involvement as needed. - Develop and maintain a positive relationship with individual(s) served and co-workers to promote successful outcomes.. - Welcome, mentor, train and discipline staff according to Balance Autism policies, assuring the staff are competent in performing the essential functions of their job. - Develop schedules in a timely manner for all services that are overseen, serving as on call for scheduling purposes only. - Complete accurate payroll and billing duties as assigned according to Balance Autism Policies and Procedures **Benefits:** - Student loan repayment program with up to 8% contribution match - 403 (b) retirement plan with up to 8% employer match - Medical, dental and vision insurance - Short- and long-term disability insurance - Generous PTO plans - Access to a huge private discount network, with up to 40% off restaurants, shopping, etc. **You're a good fit for this position IF:** - ***You are passionate for people and autism***. You also communicate frequently with your supervisor and tell them when you’re feeling overwhelmed. ## Requirements **Qualifications** - Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college with six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must possess valid Drivers License and Automobile Insurance - Pass pre-employment motor vehicle report and criminal background checks **Physical Demands:** While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will engage in bending, squatting, and kneeling quite frequently when working with small children.
