The service adopts a restorative and relationship-based practice model, enabling practitioners to build meaningful relationships with children and families while delivering effective safeguarding and support interventions. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and families requiring ongoing support Complete high-quality assessments and care planning Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection, and statutory safeguarding work Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies Contribute to positive and sustainable outcomes for children and young people Ensure practice is compliant with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Requirements Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent) Social Work England registration Significant frontline safeguarding experience within Children's Services Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills Experience managing complex caseloads Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the BCP area Why Dorset?
