On call/Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher We are seeking a caring and dependable on-call/part-time Teacher to support children ages 6 weeks to 5 in a safe, nurturing classroom. Teachers help promote children’s social‑emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based and guided learning experiences. Duties Include: - Provide daily supervision and maintain a safe learning environment - Support child development through play, structured activities, and routines - Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff - Track and communicate children’s progress to parents - Maintain a clean, organized classroom - Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines - Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality - Be flexible with scheduling as enrollment changes - Qualifications: - Must be 18+ and enrolled in the Central Background Registry - Must be able to provide R number - Ability to pass a drug test Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move throughout the classroom Effective verbal communication in English - Food Handler’s and Child/Infant CPR & First Aid (may obtain upon hire) - Meet state training requirements - One of the following: - ECE/Child Development credits (20 semester / 30 quarter) - Step 5 in Oregon Registry - 1+ year qualifying experience in a certified center or in home - Degree or credential in Elementary, Special Education, or ECE - Patience, compassion, and a love for working with young children
