This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma **Child Welfare Specialist IV - H23D** **Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + [Full State Employee Benefits](https://oklahoma.gov/omes/omes-careers/benefits.html)** *Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.* *On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.* *Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.* **Minimum Qualifications** - Master's Degree plus one year of experience in professional social work in child welfare programs. - **OR** a Bachelors Degree plus two years experience as a Child Welfare Specialist - **OR** Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist. **Job Responsibilities** - Serves as a Trainer and Mentor to support and guide new Child Welfare Specialists during their first year of training. - Assists in coaching and mentoring of new staff as well as conducting trainings for tenured staff. Also provides opportunities for staff to gain foundational learning for all Pre-CORE and CORE OJT activities throughout their training program. - Collaborates with mentors in the field on the progress and or struggles new workers are having with case load management. Assists with developing a support plan approved by training supervisors to assist the worker with any struggles they may be experiencing. - Carries a limited caseload to demonstrate effective case management, provide hands-on coaching opportunities, and support service delivery while balancing mentoring responsibilities.
