**This position is for current OKDHS employees only.** This position is located in Stilwell or any location in Region 4, Oklahoma. **Child Welfare Specialist IV - H23D** **Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + [Full State Employee Benefits](https://oklahoma.gov/omes/omes-careers/benefits.html)** *Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.* *On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.Roving Unit receives 145.00 biweekly for differential pay.Hours worked may be on-call, extended hours and/or weekends.* *Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.* **Minimum Qualifications** - Master's Degree plus one year of experience of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist; - **OR** a Bachelors Degree plus two years experience as a Child Welfare Specialist; - **OR** Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist. **Job Responsibilities** - Serves within a specialized Child Protective Services Roving Unit located in Region 4 assisting with vacant workloads due to extended leave and vacant positions based on the needs of the Region. - Serves as team leader in staff meetings, provide on-going case consultation and advise and train lower-level Child Welfare Specialists in case management and interpretation of policies and procedures. - May assist in the coordination efforts of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC). - Carry complex and difficult caseloads, and/or are assigned responsibilities involving case consultation. - Monitors investigations and individualized service plans and reviews court reports. \*Preference may be given to applicants who posses at least two years of experience in Child Protective Services. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ If you have questions, please contact [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#dc98948ff29fbdaeb9b9aeaf9cb3b7b8b4aff2b3aebb) OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.
