This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship-building, critical thinking, and trauma-informed practice. ### What You’ll Do - Conduct child protective services initial assessments involving allegations of abuse and/or neglect - Interview children, parents, caregivers, collateral contacts, referral sources, and community partners - Assess child safety, family functioning, and risk factors through home visits and ongoing evaluation - Observe home environments and complete thorough safety assessments - Develop and implement safety plans to support children and families when concerns are identified - Make critical decisions regarding child safety, including determining when out-of-home placemen…
