Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or a steady full-time schedule, we have shifts that work for you — days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, and weekends. This is non-medical home care. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently. What you'll do • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed • Provide companionship, socialization, and emotional support • Offer medication reminders and help maintain daily routines • Perform light housekeeping • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings What we're looking for • Active, valid NJ CHHA certification (required) • A warm, patient, and dependable caregiver • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude • Comfortable working independently in a client's home • Ability to pass a background check What we offer • $19/hour • Flexible scheduling — you tell us your availability • Consistent clients in Bergen County — no long commutes • A supportive, close-knit team that genuinely values your work • The chance to build meaningful, lasting relationships with the people in your care About us Home Helpers serves families in Allendale and the surrounding Bergen County communities.
