Chef Assistants | Start ASAP

Nationa**l** Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of **Helpers** to work at our location in **Des Plaines, IL 60018.Duties and responsibilities:‣** Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests. **‣** Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, fruit and vegetable cutting, assembling small dishes, plating meals, and preparing airline catering trays. **‣** Read, understand and follow menu specifications. Ensure kitchen spaces are kept clean, organized, and sanitary. **‣** Maintain hygiene, quality, and safety standards at all times. **Schedule:** Saturdays & Sundays + 3 days during the week *(with* ***two days off*** *during the week).* **From 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Or from 6:00 AM - Until finish** (We will work 40 - 50 hours per week) **Regular pay rate:** $17.50 per hour **Overtime:** $26.25 (paid bi-weekly). **Requirements:‣** *Per our client’s request,* ***Bilingual proficiency i*** *n* ***English and Spanish*** *is required for this role*. **‣** Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US. **‣** Must have two updated valid forms of IDs. **‣** Slip Resistant shoes at work. **‣** Own transportation to get to and from work. **‣** A Background check and Drug test will be conducted. **‣** Must be able to start working as soon as possible. \*\****Depending on the volume of interests and submissions, we will only be contacting applicants who meet all of the minimum requirements listed in the job description.
