Job Summary: The Chauffeur Truck Driver is responsible for safely delivering building materials to customer job sites while providing professional and courteous service. This role requires knowledge of building materials, proper loading/unloading procedures, and operation of company equipment, including trucks and Moffetts. Additional duties include completing maintenance logs, following safety protocols, and assisting with yard tasks such as loading customers and maintaining cleanliness. Strong interpersonal skills and a clean driving record are essential. Qualifications: Education: Basic education which includes the ability to competently read and write. Training and Experience: Two years of experience operating a motor vehicle specified by license. Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Experience with building materials preferred Job Knowledge: Driving skills and building material knowledge is preferred. Physical Demands: Work requires much physical effort, and involves little sitting, standing, walking, and some heavy lifting regularly. Works in a non-air-conditioned environment. License or Certification: Valid Chauffeur driver’s license, must be able to pass a physical and drug screen (DOT where required by FMCSA), clean MVR, insurability for driving
