Organization Overview: The Florida Panthers are in their 33rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League's premier franchises. As back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions in 2024 and 2025, the Panthers have won 11 of their past 12 postseason series and captured four Eastern Conference Championships. The organization is led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito, entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White, beginning his first full season. The Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise which is home of Panthers home games, concerts and events, Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, the state-of-the-art Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale and renovated War Memorial Auditorium which hosts concerts and events year-round. The Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Conversion Crew Organization: Florida Panthers Hockey Club Department: Arena Operations Reports To: Manager, Conversion Crew FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL — On-Site Schedule: Flexibility required for nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays Job Summary The Conversion Crew is responsible for setting up, maintaining, converting, and preparing Amerant Bank Arena for events — including converting the facility back and forth between a professional hockey arena and a large-scale concert and event venue. Essential Functions Convert the arena between professional hockey and large-scale concert/event configurations Set up seating arrangements and supporting furniture for concerts, hockey games, dinners, parties, and banquets Set up signage, banners, and other conversion elements from one event or game to another Install, repair, and remove arena parts and seating Respond to requests from management, vendors, guests, and event and team representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment Satisfy requests from vendors, guests, and event representatives to relocate materials and equipment on event day and during events Make deliveries to the Ice Den and War Memorial as needed Set up and break down barricades, tables, chairs, risers, and stages around the arena Distribute Panthers giveaways to each arena entrance Build and disassemble risers and stages for concerts and other events Store, retrieve, and rearrange various items in storage areas for all departments Other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors and arena management Availability to work nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and extend arms or legs fully Ability to operate a forklift and warehouse equipment preferred but not required Work Environment This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, and temperatures are variable — often cold.…
