Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

**Job Shift: Days** **Job Type: Full Time** **Up to $10,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.** The Operating Room Surgical Technician assists with surgical instruments in the OR based on procedure performed, standards, guidelines, and policies set for the unit. He/she functions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon. ### Responsibilities - Provides safe and efficient patient transport - Implements and follows plan of care - Maintains a Safe Surgical Environment. - Maintains a Clean and Orderly Work Environment - Department support for Daily Activities ### Qualifications **Education:** - HS diploma, Graduate of approved surgical tech school, unless LPN with a minimum of 2 years surgical experience **Experience:** - Prefer experience in OR or SPD but not required **License:** - LPN if not a Graduate of approved Surgical Tech School **Certifications:** - American Heart Association BLS. #LI-MQ1 ### About the Team St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach.
