Some tasks that are delegated by the supervising LPN/RN including monitoring resident conditions, documenting and reporting any condition changes, monitoring for drug reactions and at the direction of LPN/RN, administer certain types of medication. **Qualifications:** - Must at least be 18 years of age - Must have reliable transportation - High school education or equivalent preferred. - Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio in good standing or a Resident Assistant with 2 years full experience preferred - **Current Medication Aide Certification approved by Ohio Board of Nursing** - Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance. - Possesses the necessary dexterity to feed, bathe, etc. - Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles. - Walks, stands, and sits intermittently throughout the day. - Well-lighted, well-ventilated rooms and halls. - Must understand infection control performance. - Must be able to utilize therapeutic communication. - Must communicate professionally and with empathy to residents, families, visitors and coworkers - Required to make independent decisions. - Required to assist in response to emergency situations. - Must be able to work an Every Other Weekend/ Every Other Holiday Rotation The Village of St. Edward is a **not-for-profit** organization that supports each person as a valued member of this community.
