Certified Medical Assistant

**West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field!** Must be willing to drive within the Detroit area. The Field MA is responsible for administering misting therapy to patients in their respective homes 5 days a week, as well as materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps one day per week. **Essential Job Functions** - Perform misting therapy on wound patients - Order medical supplies - Scribe for respective doctors - Prepare patients for procedures - Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients - Coordinate skin sweep scheduling - Scribe for skin sweeps - Make initial assessment calls **Qualifications** - Valid MA Certification - 1–2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred - Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills - Strong awareness of medical terminology - Strong desire for patient care **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm **Pay:** $22/hr | Full-Time **Work Location:** On the road
