Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. - Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing. - Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. - Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. - Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications. Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits. - Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments. - Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures. - Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
