The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service. **Responsibilities** - Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer) - Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment - Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies - Maintain accurate logs and required documentation (ELD) - Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and delays - Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport - Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately - Maintain a clean and professional appearance of truck and equipment **Qualifications** - Valid **Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)** - Minimum [1–2 years] of verifiable driving experience (preferred) - Clean driving record and background check - Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening - Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards - Strong time management and communication skills Compensation: $1,700.00 - $2,300.00 per week # About Us At JY Carriers, we take pride in being a dynamic force in the realm of LTL/Truckload and Distribution Carrier services.
