CDL A Route Driver

**DIRECT HIRE:** A fantastic opportunity for an experienced CDL A Route Driver to join a dynamic team. 📍 Working Location: Davenport, IA. 💰 Pay: $26hr Shift: First shift, but with flexibility, 5am or 7am Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidays **Responsibilities:** - Have excellent attendance - Meet established route schedules - Have good communication and customer service skills - Follow all company safety rules - Be able to work well with a diverse workforce - Be able to follow directions given by their supervisor or manager - Follow all company policies and procedures - Possess and maintain a positive attitude - Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies - Deliver the product to our customers in a timely manner - Be able to work past the schedule, as production/delivery issues may arise - Ability to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork - Perform a daily visual inspection of the equipment - Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit Additional Responsibilities: - Cross-train on other routes per department needs - Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed Skills/Requirements: - Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day - Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels) - Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling - Valid Class A drivers license - Adhere to all DOT, state, and local regulations - Must have clean driving record per company policy - Have six months to one-year experience - Be available to drive nights and weekends - Ability to speak and read the English language - Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead - Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day - Be able to use repetitive arm motions Once you apply, please text "CDLRD" to 904-712-6140 for a faster reply.
