| **ENTERPRISE:** | We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort | | --- | --- | | **JOB TITLE:** | Casino Floor Server | | **DEPARTMENT NAME:** | We-Ko-Pa Resort | | **REPORTS TO:** | Beverage Manager | | **SALARY:** | $7.25 - 1st and 2nd shift PLUS TIPS $9.25 - Graveyard Shift PLUS TIPS | | **POSITION STATUS:** | Regular Full-Time | | **HOURS PER WEEK:** | 40 | **POSITION DESCRIPTION:** Under the direction of the Casino Beverage Supervisor and Casino Beverage Manager, the Poker Room Server is responsible for beverage service execution at the highest level on the casino floor. This includes upselling the menu and taking and delivering accurate orders. In addition, the Casino Beverage server maintains a clean and organized workstation at all times. The Casino Beverage server will be responsible for beverage orders for patrons sitting in the casino slot and table games areas. The Casino Floor servers must execute all orders in a timely fashion. The Casino Floor server must be highly skilled in guest service and be fully knowledgeable of all menu items, cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine offerings of the casino bars. The Casino Floor server must be able to perform duties in all casino and resort outlets as designated by business demands. Always maintain the highest level of service standards to provide the best dining experience in the area. Our team will demonstrate and promote our We-Ko-Pa-Way Service Culture at all times. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards Smile and Greet Name and Meet Thank you and Goodbye! Accountable to all standards outlined in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino Resort service guide. Will execute all opening and closing side work daily. Provided first-class beverage service in a fun way to all patrons sitting in the casino. Provides timely, accurate, and efficiently executed beverage orders to the guests on the floor. Will maintain the cleanliness of the service stations. Must maintain and clear, clean, and refresh as you go in the casino slot banks, black tables, and poker room as needed. Must be willing to assist with Food and beverage service in other outlets as needed by business demands. Must be able to carry and serve beverages on a cocktail tray. Will be responsible for providing sales of cigarettes as requested on the gaming floor. Must ensure consistency of service for all guest orders. Must assist in maintaining daily inventory and maintaining accurate on-hand products for the service stations. Must be fully knowledgeable of all menus, ingredients, and presentations. Addresses any food, beverage, or service-related guest issues and utilizes creativity and resources available to maintain optimum satisfaction. Works on the floor 80% of the time with a “hands-on” mentality for guest service. Must be knowledgeable of all health department standards. Must receive and have a current Food Handlers Card at all times. Must complete and maintain DRAM certification or another state-recognized training institution for alcohol safety. Must complete and follow all specific training and SOPs. Assists in banquet and catering events for the department. **WORK CONDITIONS:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Bend, reach, stand, and walk for 34-66% of the workday. Eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of the workday. Exposed to hot/cold temperatures for 34-66% of the workday. Exposed to dust for 1-33% of the workday. Sit for 1-33% of the workday. Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check). While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to a high level of noise daily. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** Two years as a server in an a la carte restaurant, casino, bar, high-end resort, or comparable venue as a restaurant server preferred.
