Madden’s is currently seeking a full-time **Carpenter** who will help repair and maintain all resort buildings. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim. - Inspect exterior siding for damage or defect and replace where necessary. - Perform minor roof repair. - Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of decks and railing, and repair or replace. - Remove, construct and replace stairs. - Must be comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding. - Performs other duties as required. - Follow all company and government safety guidelines and requirements. **Education/Experience:** - High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience **Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:** - Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools; follow oral and/or written instructions; establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments. - Ability to effectively manage time and complete all delegated work within the specified time. - Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers. - Keeping a neat and orderly work area for efficiency and safety **Physical Demands:** - Frequently uses hands to grab, or feel, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds. - Willingness to work outside (if necessary) in inclement weather **Expected Hours of Work:** 7:00-3:30pm with rotating weekends. **Travel** Less than 10% travel required.
