## **Job Description** Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Evening Caregivers. In this role, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and veterans in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. This position is ideal for someone looking for rewarding evening hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. ## **Responsibilities** - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. - Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and general tidying. - Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities. - Remind clients to take medications as directed. - Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or grocery shopping when needed. - Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition to the office. - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided. - Follow each client’s individualized care plan while treating every client with dignity and respect. ## **Qualifications/Requirements** - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required. - Ability to pass a criminal background check. - Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently in clients’ homes. - Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required. - CNA/HHA experience is a plus. - Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed. - Availability to work one weekend a month. *We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws*
