**Job Overview** We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. **Duties** - Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. - Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. - Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to appropriate healthcare professionals. - Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met. - Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary. - Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and participate in patient observation to ensure their comfort and safety. - Assist clients in mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required. - Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. - Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration. - Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. **Requirements** - Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred. - Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring techniques is essential. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Experience working with people with disabilities or autism is a plus. - Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. - Familiarity with memory care practices and Alzheimer’s care is highly desirable. - A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
