We are committed to fostering a culture where you feel equally supported, empowered, and inspired to make a meaningful difference. **This position is for the following shift(s): 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm** Essential Job Responsibilities: **Resident Care** - Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan. - Make residents’ beds daily. - Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents. - Serve meals and bus tables during mealtimes. - Assist with minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments. - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility. - Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents. - Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc. - Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs. - Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month. - Respond to resident emergencies; provide first-aid assistance and arrange for appropriate medical attention and/or follow up. **Activities and Resident Involvement** - Conduct activities as requested by Lifestyle Director. - Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities - Chaperone activities outside the facility, when requested. - Maintain a safe, home-like, and pleasant environment for residents. - Practice safety in working around and with equipment, chemicals, tools, and utensils. - Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs. - Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel. - Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services - Other duties as assigned **Education, Experience and Other Requirements** - Knowledge of Basic First Aid - High school diploma or GED **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required** - Promote teamwork in providing services to resident. - State and Federal Guidelines for Assisted Living - HIPAA requirements - Safe food handling procedures - Nursing standards of practice for older adults - Skills in nurturing, organization, and interest in working with older adults **Preferred Qualifications** - Previous experience working in senior living Perks and Benefits: - Birthday & Anniversary PTO - PTO accrual on Day ONE - Referral Bonus - Pay Advance Program - Generous benefit offerings to include: Medical/ Dental/Vision/ Accident/ STD/LTD - Employer paid Life policy - Free meal during certain shifts
