Caregiver Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Saline, MI. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities and providing exceptional in-home care to enhance their quality of life. ## Responsibilities - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times - Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment - Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to nursing or supervisory staff - Document care provided and maintain accurate records - Follow care plans and company policies strictly ## Requirements - Prior experience in caregiving or a related healthcare field is a plus - Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently - Basic understanding of safety and infection control procedures - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus. ## Benefits - Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid twice a month - Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives - Supportive work environment - Professional development opportunities ## About the Company University Home Care Inc is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate in-home care services.
