**JOB FUNCTION:** The Career/College Readiness Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks essential to the daily operation of the Gateway Scholars Program and other youth related career training programs Work with high school students in an educational setting, virtual setting, and recreational setting Assist with recruitment and intake of students Coordinate daily program activities and schedule Assist students with career planning, college preparation, and job readiness Prepare and teach lessons for students in the various subject matter Arrange guest speakers and lecturers Conduct and plan workshop for college and career readiness for youth and parents Monitor attendance, progress in program, and program activities Maintain contact with students and ensure students maintain contact with one another Conduct home visits and meet with parents’ as necessary Serve as liaison with social service agencies and school as needed Maintain student records and progress; Collect data and complete monthly reports; Attend and supervise field trips as needed Attend all meetings as required; Perform all other related duties **Qualifications:** College education; preferably bachelor degree Experience working with high-risk students and high school students Knowledge of employment, college or trades Knowledgeable of social media and virtual outlets Group facilitation skills NJ driver licenses Must be flexible and firm…
