Career Pathways Specialist

**General Position Summary:** Lead the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of Career Pathways, Integrated Education and Training (IET), industry credential, and Community Education initiatives within Adult Education. Develop strategic partnerships with employers, community organizations, workforce partners, and postsecondary programs to create pathways that support student success, credential attainment, employment, and postsecondary transition. Serve as the primary lead, with the Director, for career pathway development, industry-recognized credential programs, employer engagement, and community education expansion. **Supervisor**: Director of Adult Education **Physical Demands:** Lift up to 25 lbs. **Work Environment:** Frequent interaction with staff, students, and the public; Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and bending **Starting Pay:** $50,000 - $60,000, depending upon years of experience and level of education **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or as needed outside this schedule for classes, employer meetings, recruitment events, community outreach activities, special events, and student needs. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited educational institution • Three years of experience in Adult Education, workforce development, training, career services, community education, economic development, or a related field. • Experience coordinating programs, projects, partnerships, or educational initiatives. • Satisfactory background check Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree from a regionally accredited educational institution. • Experience developing and implementing Career Pathways or Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs. Preferred Skills: • Experience with student information systems and reporting systems. • Experience with Canvas or other learning management systems. • Experience with labor market information and career pathway design. • Grant writing and grant management experience. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
